Professional Certification
The foundational RESAIA certification. Validates that a professional understands AI governance as a complete discipline, not as individual fragments of risk, compliance, security, ethics, legal, procurement, audit, or data privacy, but as one connected governance system. The only RESAIA certification that covers the full scope of the Body of Knowledge and examines how all of the disciplines integrate.
Target Roles
When AI governance knowledge is confined to individual domains, each function governs what it can see. Risk conducts assessments the board never sees. Compliance produces reports engineering never consumes. Ethics reviews arrive too late to influence design. Security evaluates threats without visibility into how the model was trained. Audit checks documentation without the methodology to evaluate whether AI-specific controls are actually effective. Nobody owns fairness testing because it falls in the gap between everyone's remit. Individual AI projects may receive some level of assessment, but portfolio-level risk accumulation remains invisible.
This is the Orchestration Gap. It is not caused by negligence or lack of effort. It is caused by the absence of professionals who understand how all of these disciplines connect and can design governance systems that make them work together. The AIGP certification exists because RESAIA believes closing this gap starts with knowledge that spans the full governance landscape, not just one part of it.
Learning Outcomes
Study Material
The AIGP examines candidates across the full scope of the BOK, covering all four governance layers and fourteen domains. The BOK teaches these disciplines not as independent topics but as parts of a connected governance system. For the AIGP specifically, understanding the connections between disciplines is as important as understanding each discipline individually.
